The ECB releases the itinerary for Pakistan's visit of England.



KARACHI: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) said on Tuesday that Pakistan's visit to England for a four-match T20I series in May of 2024 will begin on May 22.


Prior to the series, the Green Shirts will compete in a three-T20I series against the Netherlands and a two-T20I series against Ireland, the specifics of which will be released in due time.


The first T20I of Pakistan's 2024 men's tour of England will be on May 22 at Leeds.


Second T20I: Birmingham, May 25


Third T20I: Cardiff on May 28


Fourth T20I: The Oval, May 30

The most recent T20I series between these two sides took place in 2022, with England coming out on top 4-3 in a seven-match series on Pakistani soil.


Pakistan last competed in a T20I series in England in 2021, losing 2-1 during the course of a three-match series.


In Melbourne in November, England also triumphed over Pakistan to claim the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup championship.


The ECB has also released the Pakistan and England women's teams' match schedule.

Dates for the 2024 Pakistani women's tour of England


First T20I: May 11 in Birmingham


May 17 - Northampton, second T20I


Third T20I: Leeds on May 19


First ODI: Derby on May 23.


Second ODI: Taunton, May 26


May 29 - Chelmsford, third ODI


Later this month, Pakistan's men's cricket team will play Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series.


The Pakistani team is looking to perfect their preparations as the series training camp got underway in Karachi earlier today.


On July 16, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play their first Test match at the Galle International Cricket Stadium. The two sides will then fly to Colombo for the second Test, which will take place at the Singhalese Sports Club from July 24 to July 28.
