USD to PKR: The rupee increases by Rs3.48 in interbank exchange

In Karachi. The Pakistani rupee, which is still on the upswing following encouraging economic news, took a favourable turn on Thursday and continued to rise.

Rupee was priced at Rs274 per dollar during intraday trading, up by Rs3.48.

Experts credited Saudi Arabian and UAE financial funds as well as the International Monetary Fund's (IMF) SBA accord for the local currency's increase.

The money market is responding to the good news, and the payment from the Fund would boost the nation's foreign exchange reserves and boost investor confidence.
