Even though he used a shorter, less difficult stairway on Thursday, US President Joe Biden, 80, once again slipped as he ascended the stairs to enter Air Force One.

Biden, the oldest politician to serve as president, tripped about halfway up the 14-step stairway that was attached to the plan in Helsinki, Finland.

Biden instantly regained consciousness after that and walked up to the building's door.

This new blunder marks the president's fourth slip-up when boarding Air Force One.

The oldest-serving US president has frequently come under fire for both his advanced age and earlier instances of tripping and falling.

The president is 81 this month, and if he is elected again in 2024, he would be 82 when he takes office.
