According to the authorities, a person began stabbing people at Seoul's Sillim subway station before being apprehended by police and the subject of an inquiry, resulting in at least one death and three injuries.

The Yonhap reported that the stabbing took place close to Exit 4 of the subway station at about 2:07 PM.
