A Pakistani woman climbs Broad Peak in a first.

 According to Alpine Club, Naila Kiani successfully scaled the world's 12th-highest peak at 2.03am.

At 2:03 am, a renowned mountaineer successfully ascends an 8,000-meter peak.

KARACHI: Mountaineer Naila Kiani accomplished a significant achievement when, following her ascent of the Broad Peak on Thursday, she became the first Pakistani woman to summit all 8,000-meter peaks in the nation.


Of the 14 8,000-meter summits in the globe, she has ascended eight of them.


Naila successfully climbed Broad mountain, the world's 12th-highest mountain, at 2:03 a.m. on Thursday, according to Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) Secretary Karrar Haidri. Broad Peak is Pakistan's fifth and last 8,000-meter peak.


She is also the first Pakistani woman to climb Broad Peak, all five of Pakistan's 8,000-meter summits, and eight 8,000-meter peaks globally, the author said.

She has climbed a number of summits, including Mount Everest, K2, Lhotse, Annapurna, Gasherbrum 1 and 2, and Nanga Parbat.


In addition, she received the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the third-highest civilian honour, in appreciation of her successful ascent of Mount Everest in May.


Dr. Arif Alvi, the president of Pakistan, also praised Naila for her outstanding accomplishment.


On Wednesday, Sajid Sadpara, another climber from Pakistan, reached the summit of Broad Peak without the use of extra oxygen or Sherpas.


Sadpara has now successfully ascended all five of Pakistan's eight-thousanders without using any additional oxygen.


It should be emphasised that Sajid, the illustrious mountaineer Ali Sadpara's son, plans to ascend all 14 eight-thousanders without using extra oxygen.


In June, he conquered Nanga Parbat without the aid of Sherpas or additional oxygen.

He has also reached the top of Manaslu (8,163m), K2 (8,611m), Gasherbrum-I (8,080m), and Gasherbrum-II (8,035m) in Pakistan without the use of oxygen.


Sajid also accomplished the extraordinary accomplishment of ascending Mount Everest in May 2023 without the use of supplemental oxygen or Sherpa help.
