According to Gibbs, the Pakistani squad always possesses a "X factor" that makes them dangerous.

Herschelle Gibbs, a former South African batter, stated on Monday that the Green Shirts are one of the favourites to win the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup and predicted that Pakistan would finish in the top four because of the right circumstances.

While the team lacks consistency, Gibbs told Geo News that everyone is aware of Pakistan's ability to perform well on game days.

He claimed that the Pakistani squad is dangerous because they always have a "X" component.

Gibbs has participated in the National Cricket Academy's Under-13 and Under-16 age group coaching programme and has played 90 Tests, 248 ODI matches, and 23 T20 matches for South Africa.
Babar Azam's message from Gibbs
Additionally, the abrasive batter admires Pakistani skipper Babar Azam.

After working with Babar in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Gibbs thinks Babar has "unbelievable consistency" in his ability to score runs.

He continued by saying Babar has a wonderful disposition.

He is a skilled run scorer. Additionally, he is driven to score runs. No matter how many runs he scored, he is never content, according to Gibbs, who also noted that the captain was aware of ways to raise his strike rate.

Gibbs was pleased with his position in Pakistan and remarked, "It felt as if I never left Lahore. The hotel remained unchanged.

"I had a sense of belonging to the South African team."

He continued by saying how thrilled he was to be working with the age group talent.

Gibbs stated, "Unfortunately, time is short, I wanted to see the U-13s and U-16s as well as the U-19s," noting that Asian batters are more powerful on the front foot than the back foot.

They must perform well on both. Sooner or later, that mentality must shift, and the coaches must work on it, he added.
