Port of Seattle operations shut down due to labor negotiations

SEATTLE - Due to labour disputes, the Port of Seattle suspended operations on Saturday.

Ground operations at marine ports came to an end on Friday as a result of work slowdowns ordered by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), according to the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA). Longshore workers were consequently sent home.
