Actor Paxton Whitehead, who was well-known for his work on "Friends," passes away at age 85.

Paxton Whitehead, a well-known stage and screen actor best known for his roles in "Friends" and "Camelot," which earned him a Tony nomination, passed away on Friday at the age of 85, his representative confirmed.
"Paxton was loved and respected by his family and everyone who knew him," Whitehead's representative Robert Attermann told USA TODAY in an email.
Whitehead had a protracted acting career that spanned several film and television projects. He portrayed Mr. Waltham, Rachel Green's Bloomingdale's employer, in the comedy "Friends," and he has been in guest spots on "The Drew Carey Show," "The West Wing," "Desperate Housewives," "Mad About You," and "Frasier." Whitehead, who made his acting debut in the 1986 film "Back to School," later acted in the fantasy romance movie "Kate and Ashley."
