Armed troops and leaders congratulate the country on Eid al-Adha

"Eidul Azha sends a message of harmony, cooperation, brotherhood, and unselfish service to humanity. On this day, let's respect and remember the Shuhada of Pakistan who gave their life in defence of their country, the ISPR said, adding, "They will forever be etched in our hearts."

Today (Thursday), Pakistanis are fervently and enthusiastically commemorating Eidul Azha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, as they pray for an improvement in the country's economy.

As the government tries to restart an IMF plan that has stalled, the South Asian nation is experiencing one of its greatest crises.

The day began with special prayers offered at mosques for the welfare of the Ummah as well as the advancement, prosperity, and security of the nation.

In all cities, towns, and villages, Eid prayer gatherings were conducted in mosques, eidgahs, and public spaces.

In their speeches during Eid, ulema stress the importance of the enormous sacrifices made by Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS).

Later, people would sacrifice animals in accordance with Hazrat Ibrahim's (AS) Sunnah.

Offal and other solid trash during the Eid days will be disposed of according to particular procedures set by civic authorities.
