Pakistan now has 10 gold medals overall after Safeer Abid's victory in the Special Olympics.

In the cycling competition at the 16th Special Olympic World Games, Safeer Abid of Pakistan took home the gold medal in the 10 km time-trial race.

Safeer Abid, a competitor from Karachi, claimed that this was his first time competing in the World Games, for which he had been training for the previous two years. 

Madeeha Tahir of Pakistan won the silver medal in the 500-meter time trial after finishing in 1 minute and 14.15 seconds, while Amina Arshad took home the bronze after finishing in 1 minute and 16.82 seconds.

Oman defeated Pakistan by a score of 6-3 to win the gold medal in the futsal competition. Pakistan received the silver medal for placing second in the competition.

In the tennis competition, Pakistan finished fourth in the men's singles, women's doubles, and mixed men's doubles.Mahnoor, Simran Mahesh Lal, Jamilur Rahman, and Farhan Aslam of Pakistan won the silver medal in the Bocce team competition after defeating competitors from Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. While Mahnoor earned the bronze medal in the women's single event and Farhan Aslam took home the bronze in the men's single.
