(AP) PARIS — When they clash in the French Open semifinals, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will play one another for the first match in more than a year.

The opening singles match on Friday at Court Philippe Chatrier will feature the much awaited showdown.

Serbian player Djokovic, 36, is playing in his 45th Grand Slam semifinal, and Mexican player Alcaraz is playing in his second.
