Sources claim that the International Cricket Council's proposed adjustments to the World Cup 2023 schedule have been accepted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Pakistan has been notified by the ICC that adjustments needed to be made to the schedule. In response, the board approved the idea, sources told Geo News on Tuesday.

The only thing that has changed in accordance with the new schedule are the dates; the match locations won't. The amended timetable will be released soon by the ICC.

World Cup scheduling revision

Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad
Sri Lanka on October 10 in Hyderabad.
India on October 14 in Ahmed.
Australia on October 20 in Bengali.
Afghanistan on October 23 in Chennai.
South Africa on October 27 in Chennai.
Against Bangladesh on October 31 in Kolkata
November 4: Day game in Bengali vs. New Zealand
England on November 12 in Kolkata.

The important Pakistan vs. India match was scheduled for the 15th of October, but the security agencies had reportedly advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to change the schedule due to Navratri, a festival that is widely observed throughout Gujarat.

From October 5 to November 19, ten teams will compete for the illusive championship at ten different locations, with the tournament's opening game and championship match taking place in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.

The daytime games will begin at 10:00am Pakistan Standard Time (PST), while the day-night games will begin at 1:30pm (PST).

Pakistan will play in Kolkata if they make it to the semifinals.
Unless they are playing Pakistan, in which case they will play in Kolkata, India will play in Mumbai if they advance to the semi-finals.

All teams will face each other for a total of 45 league matches during the round-robin style of the Cricket World Cup.

The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, which will take place on November 15 in Mumbai and on November 16 in Kolkata. There will be reserve days for the semifinals and championship.

A panel set up by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will convene for the first time on Thursday to make a decision about Pakistan's participation in the World Cup in India.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will serve as the meeting's chair.
