Mark Coles stops as ladies' group lead trainer

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declared Thursday that Imprint Coles, the lead trainer of Pakistan's ladies' public cricket crew, has surrendered because of individual reasons.

Coles won't be accessible for the impending white-ball series against South Africa, which starts on September 1 in Karachi, as per an official statement from the PCB.

Coles, who recently filled in as lead trainer of the ladies' group from 2017 to 2019, was re-elected in April of this current year.

"The PCB might want to stretch out its appreciation to Check Coles for his concise spell with the ladies' side and wishes him well in his future undertakings," the PCB expressed.

It proceeded to say that Coles' substitution would be declared "at the appropriate time."

Following the South Africa series, the Pakistan ladies' group will contend in the Asian Games in China.

The Pakistan ladies' group will hold back nothing stunt of Asian Games gold decorations in the wake of winning the top award in the past two versions, which were held in Guangzhou, China in 2010 and Incheon, South Korea in 2014.

As per the ICC T20I rankings and competition guidelines, the Pakistan ladies' group will contend in the occasion starting with the quarter-finals on September 22-24.

On September 25, the semi-finals will be held. In the meantime, the last and bronze award match will be hung on September 26.
