The 26-year-old Dembele, who was essential for France's 2018 World Cup-winning crew, joined Barcelona in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund and expanded his agreement last year until 2024.

PSG exploited the player's 50 million euros ($54 million) discharge proviso to sign the previous Rennes forward.

"I'm exceptionally glad to join Paris Holy person Germain and can hardly hold on to play in my new varieties," Dembele said in a PSG explanation.

Dembele, who has 37 covers for France and scored four objectives, joins three other World Cup champs at PSG — Kylian Mbappã©, Presnel Kimpembe, and Lucas Hernandez.

He is the club's 10th summer marking after safeguards Milan Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez, midfielders Manuel Ugarte and Cher Ndour, advances Marco Asensio, Lee Kang-in, and Goncalo Ramos, and goalkeeper Arnau Tenas.
